1 Last Day - The Open Door

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 One of the billion things I love about Jesus is that in the midst of our bitterness, brokenness, and sinful nature, He loves us regardless - more in one single moment than anyone could in a lifetime - and He tells us to ‘come as we are.’ But BECAUSE He loves us so much, He not only saves us from our past and the earthly things destroying us, but He gives us hopes and dreams and visions, prepares the best, perfect-timed future for us, blesses us and changes us from the inside-out amongst that! When God messes with your life plan, remember his plans are always better than yours. Although it takes courage to let go of where you are and reach for what’s ahead, what you’re reaching for is going to be something so extraordinary that you’d never have been able to imagine it on your own.

If a few years ago, I were to be told I’d be a youth leader, serving at church, traveling constantly and soon to be leaving for the Air Force, I wouldn’t have believed it. But it is. And I’m so ready. It’s honestly hard to comprehend it all; it seems too good to be true. But that’s how I know it’s all part of God’s big plan, because His plans for us are beyond our own comprehensions. I truly can’t wait to see the goodness of God in lovely and undeniable ways going into this new chapter of life. No matter what is ahead, I know God is already there.
